Just wanted to take a moment to help potential Exton Pier 1 customers. If you shop here be very careful using any electronic form of payment. I learned that they have several employees who apparently record card / pin numbers in order to later use the customers card fraudulently. After witnessing an employee named "Feec" do this I asked why the card pin number would need to be separately recorded or saved by the employee, what legit purpose could he have for that?. The employee tried to pretend like it didn’t happen and instead tried to shift attention away by making totally irrelevant statements. All the while another associate (who I later learned was the shift manager, Jill) stood with the employee and tried to provide excuses and cover-up his actions. In a follow up call Jill refused to provide contact info for a district manager and repeatedly hung up on me. Later the same shift manager Jill blatantly lied and claimed that the employee was in the wrong and that she tried to intervene. Though in fact neither her nor a third employee spoke up and were at least complicit with the dishonest employee’s actions. (I have recordings of some of this and will be updating the review with the youtube link soon). A quick google search later revealed a large number of similar complaints on consumer protections sites detailing instances of Pier 1 customers being swindled by dishonest Pier 1 employees . I hope more Pier 1 customers who were ripped off here file complaints with the Bureau of Consumer Protection and Federal Trade Commission as I am doing. Thanks for reading my review, tell me what you think!

NEVER buy a Pier 1 gift card. Store employees save the card# and spend money off of cards sold to customers. Also the company that issues Pier1 cards was required to pay over $60million to settle federal charges a few months ago, according to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. That case involved their misleading customers with DECEPTIVE marketing, FALSIFYING BOGUS CHARGES / fees on card accounts, and failing to honor card terms. With how Pier1 treats customers its really no surprise that PIR share price has PLUMMETED over 70% in the past few years. If you were also RIPPED-OFF by pier 1 please share your experience on google, social media and PIR stock message boards.
